Brand refresh with full marketing campaign
Cambourne is a midlands based Financial Services company offering strategic advice to private and corporate clients. Due to an increasingly competitive marketplace and the organic growth of the business there was a real need to re-address the company’s core brand proposition, looking at their service offering, company values and their visual identity which after 10 years appeared dated and irrelevant.
Ideate got straight to the heart of it with several workshops and a client survey to get a strong clear understanding of what the company stood for, what services they offered and how they were viewed by their clients. We also carried out competitor and marketplace analysis.
What we did
By taking Cambourne through this journey we were able to create a clear overview of the business including how to structure and communicate their company services and we also created a strong yet simple visual identity that conveyed their direct and honest approach to financial management.
We then rolled out the identity across all marketing material including brochures, direct mail, newsletters and signage. We created a strategic communications plan to ensure consistent and relevant contact with their client base both online and offline.

We have launched an interactive website, allowing clients for the first time to view transparent and immediate information on their funds and investments through a secure portal 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The return
The company now has a full suite of marketing material, a marketing and communications plan in place and an interactive website.
Their corporate clients include national Blue Chip companies.

The website today
In September 2026 we rebuilt the Cambourne website, and we host it.

Cambourne let us start with people, through workshops and a client survey, before we designed anything. From there came a new identity, brochures and direct mail to carry it, and a website. Years later we rebuilt their website, and we host it now. I love that they came back.
