A website audit that finds why visitors leave without getting in touch
We look at your website the way your buyers do: what they notice first, what they need to believe, and where they give up. You get an honest view of what’s holding it back and what to fix first, starting with our free audit.
How the free audit works
A good audit doesn’t stop at a list of technical errors. It asks whether the site does its job: helping the right people understand you, trust you and take the next step.
Audits we have run include Staffline, Bush & Co, HCML and Sayfa Systems.

Tell us about your site: A few details: your website, and the goal it should be helping you reach.
We review it as your buyers would: We go through the site looking at the message, the experience, the proof and the next step, and check the search basics.
You get three things to fix: An honest review of your website, brand and marketing, with three things you could fix this month.
Go further if it helps: If the audit shows a bigger question, we can talk to the people who buy from you. No pitch, no tie-in.
If it isn’t the website: Sometimes the site is fine and the positioning is the problem. When that’s what we find, we say so.
What we found, and what we built
What a website audit covers
- 01
The message
Whether the first screen says what you do, who it’s for and why you, in your buyer’s words rather than yours.
- 02
User experience
How easily people find what they came for, on a phone as well as a desktop, and where they get lost.
- 03
Conversion
Whether the next step is obvious and easy to take, and what stops people taking it.
- 04
Proof and trust
Whether your case studies, people and evidence are where a sceptical buyer will look for them.
- 05
Search basics
Whether your pages are found for the searches your buyers make, and the technical basics that help or hold that back.
- 06
Speed
How quickly the pages load, because a slow site loses people before they read a word.
From jobs candidates couldn’t find to a search built around them.
Staffline, the largest provider of blue collar recruitment in the UK, was finding it hard to source candidates.
Our first analysis found jobseekers struggling to find its jobs through search engines, then struggling to apply. A six week audit and workshops with clients and candidates followed, and we built a mobile first job search around the candidate.

What is a website audit?
It’s a careful review of a website against what it’s there to do, whether that’s winning enquiries, selling, recruiting or informing. It should end with a short list of changes, most important first. The six areas above are what ours covers.
Is the audit really free?
Yes. There’s nothing to pay and nothing to commit to.
Why not just use a free audit tool?
Use one as well. Tools are quick at the faults a machine can measure, such as broken links, missing page titles and slow pages. What a tool can’t tell you is whether your message lands with the people you want to reach. That’s the part we look at, alongside the search basics.
What’s the difference between an SEO audit and a UX audit?
They look at the same site from two sides. An SEO audit checks what stands between your pages and the searches you want to be found for. A UX audit follows a visitor through the site and notes where they get stuck. Ours covers both, plus the message and the proof.
Do you run fuller audits?
Yes, as part of bigger brand and website projects. For HCML, a full brand audit combined competitor and market research, a brand sprint and interviews with the people who matter most to them.
“Simple to start, and honest about what we find. Sometimes an audit shows the site is fine and the positioning is the problem.”
